Το εργαστήριο περιλαμβάνει τα παρακάτω ερευνητικά αντικείμενα:

  • Έρευνα και ανάπτυξη εφαρμογών για το βιομηχανικό διαδίκτυο των αντικειμένων (Industrial Internet of Things) και τα κυβερνο-φυσικά συστήματα (Cyber-Physical Systems)
  • Έρευνα και ανάπτυξη μεθοδολογιών σχεδιασμού πολύπλοκων συστημάτων (Systems of Systems) και καινοτόμων εκπαιδευτικών προγραμμάτων για μηχανικούς συστημάτων (Systems Engineers)
  • Έρευνα και ανάπτυξη καινοτόμων εκπαιδευτικών μεθοδολογιών και τεχνολογιών για την διάδοση της συνεργατικής μάθησης στα γνωστικά αντικείμενα του Εργαστηρίου
  • Έρευνα και ανάπτυξη εφαρμογών λογισμικού και εργαλείων CAD για ολοκληρωμένα ηλεκτρονικά κυκλώματα και ενσωματωμένα συστήματα
